Our bottom freezer refrigerator BRFB1045 has been recognized with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s 2020 ENERGY STAR Emerging Technology Award. The award-winning technology was the Advance Adaptive Compressors which help protect the environment while offering the consumer new ways to save energy.

The BRFB1045 demonstrates:

• Pair advanced compressor with sensor-driven control systems capable of capacity modulation
• Outperformed measured federal minimum standard by 30% OR outperformed federal minimum standard by at least 25% compared to when the compressor is in a fixed-speed mode, when the compressor is in adaptive mode.
• Contain refrigerant and foam with a Global Warming Potential (GWP) less than 15
• Are approved for use and available for sale in the U.S. market

Duo Cycle Cooling
